How to make a QuickTime Screen Recording

Here are the quick steps for making a screen recording and uploading to YouTube.

    1. Open QuickTime Player

    2. Record your screen recording

    3. Save your video to the desktop

    4. Go to YouTube and upload your video

Tips for creating a narrated Google Presentation

Want to create a narrated slideshow? Follow these instructions.

In Presentation, click the drop down arrow next to present and choose "Present with speaker notes" if you have notes you want to see while recording your slides.

Resize the windows so that you can both the slides and the speaker notes.

Open QuickTime and start a new screen recording.

Click the red round button. You will then be asked to draw a rectangle around what you want to record.

Draw a box around just the slide portion of your screen. When you're ready, hit record. Now you'll be able to record just your slides while still viewing your speaker notes.
