Field Test of Grade Level (5 and 8) Science, Biology, and Physical Science DESE will administer only field tests for grades five and eight science, biology, and physical science during the fall 2017 and spring 2018 assessment windows. These field tests will align to the standards adopted by the State Board in April 2016. Data from the assessment vendor will be used to ensure that the 95 percent participation rate required for federal accountability purposes is met. This assessment data will not be included in the calculation of the 2018 APR.
