On Tuesday, April 25, Soojung will meet you to review your project progress during 1on1 meetings.
Use this meeting time as a soft target day to push your work progress and validate key issues like these:
Choice of your project scope: Greenfield or Brownfield
Your design concepts to support 5 W's and H Questions
Examples:
What: city, system, product, service, architecture, natural resource, etc.
Where: location, region, size of city, environment, culture, etc.
Why: REASONs to be connected, developed, reformed, scaled, etc.
Who: actors/stakeholders (people, devices, buildings, agencies, etc.
How: technologies, infrastructure, channels/layers, interconnections, etc.
When: past/present/future, sequence/cycle, user journey, ecosystem, feedback loop, etc.
Bring as many images as you can visualize your concepts:
Concept can be visualized in various methods including drawing, collage, mapping, street views, layers/sections, structure (lightweight), etc.
Scenarios can be shown in storyboards or still images to describe the “touch points” along the user journey and multiple interactions.
Connectivity can be shown in various scales and hierarchies among the infrastructure, technologies, services, and multiple stakeholder’s needs. Use layers, mapping, categories, etc.
Begin sketching your idea of prototyping plans: tangible vs intangible, 2d/3d simulation, work-like vs looks-like, interactive vs rendering/animation, etc.
Bring your rough prototype if you have one.
