About Ms. Baird
Hello, I'm Ms. Baird,
I am really excited about teaching all the kindergarten students for the this year. I have been fortunate to stay home with my own two wonderful children for 8 years. They are 12 and 13 years old and the greatest joy in my life. I also have 2 tiny little dogs named Kiwi and Sylo. Other than my first love of children, I also am passionate about new things, I love learning and trying out different activities. I am an empathetic teacher and "the feels" are where my heart lies. I believe that if we don't feel safe, accepted, seen and heard we can not learn, so that is the most critical part of our classroom culture. I also believe that your role as parents and guardians is crucial to your child's success at school and would like to foster a relationship with you as well. If you can come in, please do! Oriole Park values of respectful, curious, responsible, collaborative, resilient, and healthy, are an important part of our everyday lessons. My new adventure is learning to camp, while my old reliable hobbies are kickboxing and yoga. I am very social and love all people, so being out and about with friends is a favorite past time.
