Approved Fire Pits

         An approved burn pit does not require a permit to use. Most approved pits are commercial and available at your local hardware store. Custom built pits and commercial built pits must have a spark arrestor and all openings must be less than 1/2" to prevent embers from escaping. After you have purchased or built your pit contact Rattlesnake Fire and we will come out and inspect your pit. After your pit has been inspected you may use it at any time without a permit provided we are not in a stage three burn restriction. With that being said for your safety and ours please abide by the burn permit restrictions.
