RECENT ADVANCES IN SPATIAL STATISTICS IN ECOLOGY

A Royal Statistical Society meeting organised by the Environmental Statistics Section.

VENUE: Seminar room, CREEM, University of St Andrews, The Observatory, Buchanan Gardens, St Andrews.

SUMMARY: In the analysis of many ecological data sets, spatial statistical

methods are highly relevant since many ecological processes take place

in a spatial context. At this meeting, recent developments in spatial

and computational statistics and their application to ecological

modelling and statistical ecology will be discussed.
