Assessments
Assessments are a way for the students and teacher to see what they have learned. Students should look at assessments as a way to show off the learning that has taken place. We look at assessment as progress monitoring. Because we are most interested in the students actually learning the content, students will have an opportunity to earn additional points for written assessments when the initial assessment showed that more learning needed to take place. Students are allowed to retake quizzes and tests within a week of the original assessment.
