What to do when:
School is out for another year!
The end of the school year has arrived and our students have done some wonderful work on their blogs.
So now what happens to it?
Let's try to make the best decisions here for the STUDENTS and the TEACHER....
Students:
The content that has been posted on a blog now becomes part of their digital portfolio, so we want to make sure that the work is saved in a safe way AND that it is easy for them, their parents and whanau to access.
Teachers:
Have put many hours into supporting this for their students and feel 'ownership' of the blog. Particularly because of the collaborating and hyperlinking that will have gone on with other teachers and classes around the world. Many teachers will want to keep 'their' class blog going next year.
To try and get the best outcome for both groups, we have created this site to work through some of the possible scenarios.
These are expanded on in pages linked to from the sidebar.
If there is ONE message that we want to come through clearly it is this:
DON'T delete students' work!
