Distance Learning Syllabus
Virtual Classroom Rules and Expectations: On the first day of our virtual class students will complete a form that will compile a list of classroom rules and expectations. That list will be updated on the syllabus. Zoom Invites will be located in the classwork section of google classroom. Each week will have the specific invites.
Used platforms: Google classroom, zoom, cardio tracking apps, camera for time-lapse assignments.
Role Call:
At the beginning of each zoom session, each student will log their full Aeries name into the chat. Make sure you send the message to the Host/Teacher only.
Being prepared for your virtual class:
Check your email each morning and between classes if possible
Athletic wear (be prepared to move)
Appropriate body covering
Water
Towel or mat
Clean and safe space to move around
Google classroom open
No eating during Zoom
Video must be on at all times
Phones are out of reach and silenced during Zoom class

Academic Time will be used for scheduled office hour appointments. Please email your teacher for a telephone or zoom appointment.
Grading
40% Virtual Class Attendance
Screen On
Appropriate dress and environment
Follow rules created by class
Participation in Polls, chat, etc.
20% Classwork/Quizzes
Time for classwork and quizzes will be given during class. This includes time for group work as well.
Students must be present during class in order to earn full credit.
If late, 10% will be deducted from the assignment each day.
20% Fitness Assignments
Fitness assignments will be due by Friday at 11:59 PM each week.
Make up assignments need to be completed within one week of the missed assignments with an excused absence. If you do not have an excused absence, 10% will be deducted from the assignment each day it is late.
Depending on the week (A week or B week), will depend on the amount of assignments. A week = 3 assignments and B week = 2 assignments)
Fitness assignments will be categorized as Cardiovascular, muscular endurance, and muscular flexibility assignments.
20 points per assignment.
