Communication: You can email either of us using the email addresses above if you have any questions, concerns or comments.
In the Social Studies classroom, we have access to to computers on a daily basis and we plan to use them almost daily. We will use our class website and Google Classroom as a platform for communication, assignments, and a place to submit work. I encourage you to get your child's Google username and password and drop in from time to time to see what we are doing and what kind of work your child is doing.
I also encourage you to contact us if you have questions or concerns. Taking classes online and using computers are going to be part of your child's life and now is the time to encourage good habits and etiquette.

Typical day:
Daily Warm Up (DWU) to be completed as you walk into the room. (in notebook) the DWU and the agenda for the day will be posted so students and parents can keep up with classroom activities
Review of topic/unit we are currently studying
New Day's Work - Reading / Vocabulary / Primary Source Work / Book Work
Goals for the year:
To Increase your knowledge of U.S History.
To help prepare you for High School and beyond.
To prepare you to be a good, productive citizen.

A Writing Utensil.
Notebook
Markers or Colored Pencils
folder with materials were are working on
Notebook Setup
Skip the first 3 pages, we will use those as the table of contents
starting on the 4th page, number each side of the page on the bottom right.
We will add titles as we work on different activitie

**If you choose, you are allowed to bring a bottle of water to my class. (only water) You may continue to do this as long as you are not making a mess and it does not become a distraction.
