Application opens in early October
$110 application fee for five programs
November 1, 2023 colleges may begin sending offers of admission
February 1, 2024 deadline for equal consideration
May 1, 2024 deadline to confirm offers of admission
General Information:
24 different publicly funded colleges in Ontario
offer 2 or 3 year diplomas and less lengthy certificate programs (often less than 1 year)
4 General Areas of Study: Applied Arts, Business, Technology, Health Science
Nature of Studies: Work and job oriented focus on application and skills, 30-50% practical, hands-on work, often leads to specific occupations
High School Requirements (minimum): Ontario Secondary School Diploma, ENG4C, and others depending on the specific program
Portfolios, test results, and/or interviews are required for certain programs
