Hi Ravens!
LitSpark Youth, a fully teen-led nonprofit dedicated to making literacy more accessible, is currently recruiting volunteers. We’re looking for enthusiastic students who are passionate about reading, community service, and making a difference.
As a volunteer, your responsibilities may include helping collect books at our neighbourhood book collections, conducting local outreach, and setting up book donation drives (although your role is pretty flexible).
If you’d like to sign up as a volunteer (and get volunteer hours), please fill out the form at the end of this message.
You can also learn more about LitSpark Youth at our website litspark.ca.
Thank you!
Here's how you earn them:
1) Find a volunteer opportunity in the community. There are a number of ads posted in Student Services. Please review the Guidelines to ensure that your activity qualifies.
2) Make arrangements to volunteer with the appropriate contact person.
3) Show up and volunteer.
4) Submit a paper log sheet to your guidance counselor. The log sheets can be picked up in Student Services.
