Semester 2 Course Changes for Gr 11 & 12 Students
Current grade 11 & 12 students wishing to make a semester 2 course change can submit their request through this Google Form. Please note that a parent or guardian's consent is required, and that course change opportunities are limited - some changes may not be possible. Consider your requests carefully.
Students who have requested a course change will receive an email with the date and time of their course change appointment. Appointments are being scheduled over lunch and after school until the start of secondary exams on January 23rd.
Please check your school email for the date and time of your course change appointment.
Winter Night School will take place from February 19, 2026 to May 28, 2026.
Night school runs virtually (in Google Meets) Tuesday and Thursday evenings, from 5:30-9:21 pm.
Registration is now open through this Google Form, and will close Thursday, February 12th at 12:00 pm.
International Languages Program 2025-26
Registration for the evening OCDSB extra credit International Languages Programs is now closed for this school year.
Information about next year's program will be posted here when it becomes available.
Important Notes:
Students and families received midterm report cards electronically on Tuesday, November 18th, 2025. The number of hours of community involvement the student has on record with LDH can be found on the third page of the student’s report card.
The deadline for students to submit hours to be considered for a Certificate of Recognition is the 2nd last Monday of April of their graduating year. For Graduates of the Class of 2026, that date is Monday, April 20th, 2026.
After April 20th, LDH will continue to accept hours from graduating students to help them meet their 40 hour graduation requirement.
Eligible activities include volunteering with a non-profit organization and at charitable events hosted by a for-profit organization. Please note that students should not be completing tasks that are normally done by a paid worker, and organizations should not be making a profit from a student’s volunteer work.
