Virtual Night School
The OCDSB’s Continuing Education Department offers two Night School Sessions each year: a Fall Session from September to December, and a Winter Session from February to May.
Night School courses are a great opportunity for students to upgrade courses or to take courses that are not available in their home school, as well as for adult learners working towards their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or upgrading their courses. 2025 Winter Virtual Night School: Registration is CLOSED for Winter 2025
Dates: Every Tuesday and Thursday from February 20 - May 29, 2025
Time: 5:30 - 9:21pm
Students are expected to attend both the Tuesday and Thursday classes each week. Students are expected to be in Ontario during the duration of the session.

Virtual International & Indigenous Languages Program: Registration is now CLOSED for 2024/2025
High school students and adult learners can register for these courses. Studying an international language can prepare students for post-secondary studies in fields such as business, trade, communications, and others. Info: OCDSB International & Indigenous Languages Secondary & Adult Program
The credit language courses are in three levels: BD (grade 10), CU (grade 11), and DU (grade 12).
High school students (grades 9 to 12) and adults are eligible to take the language credit courses
Grade 9 students can only register in BD level language courses.
CU and DU level courses have prerequisites (BD and CU respectively).
Students in grade 11/12 who are newcomers and are interested in registering in the age appropriate level without the prerequisite will need to complete a form, provide evidence of credits completed in the target language and be assessed on their language competency.
Dates/Time:
Saturday mornings (9:00 am - 12:30 pm): September 21, 2024 to June 14, 2025.
All language credit courses will be offered virtually (through Google Meet/Google Classroom) in 2024-25. If there are any updates by the Ministry and/or the Board, new information will be shared on our website.
Tuesday & Thursday Evenings (5:00-7:30pm): January 14 to June 5, 2025.

Homework Club for Grade 7-12 Students – Register Now!
The School Homework Clubs offer students a supervised environment to complete, review, practice, and receive support in various subject areas. Any OCDSB student may attend.
The program is available at the following schools: A.Y. Jackson SS, Brookfield HS, Colonel By SS, Elizabeth Wyn Wood Secondary, Lisgar CI, Maplewood SS, Nepean HS, OCV Elementary, Roberta Bondar PS, South Carleton HS, Stonecrest PS, Summerside PS, W.O. Mitchell ES, and York Street PS.
