From Examsoft: It is possible to correct this issue by using quick format tools in the revision mode. To remove span formatting, please follow the steps below: * Locate the exam you are trying to post in the portal and access it. * From the items list, click on the hyperlinked item ID of the question ID showing on the error. The item should open in a new window. * Click on the "Create New Revision/Edit" button to access revision mode. * Click within the text field for the questions stem, there should be a visible tools menu above the text. * Copy the question text. * Click on the "Code" button. This will display the span formatting. * Delete all the content on the "Code" text box. * Paste the text as plain text. * Confirm that span formatting is no longer showing. Hit save to ensure that changes are saved and exit the window. This process can be repeated for any item.
