Albert Charles Stewart (1868-1956), was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on July 19, 1868, son of Alexander Paton Setwart (1838-1912), and Mary Donovan Stewart (1840-1889), both immigrants from Scotland.
In 1870, his parents moved to Toledo, Ohio.

In 1899, they established Toledo Stamp Co., Toledo, Ohio.

The St. Clair Building, Toledo, Ohio is the where Toledo Stamp Co., was located from 1899-1915. The firm was sometimes billed as Toledo Stamp & Coin Co. since they handled both.

IN 1954, Albert C. Stewart move to Bennington, Vermont to live with his daughter Mrs. Dorothea Jean Allen and son-in-law Francis Ellwood Allen (1891-1995).
Albert C. Stewart died on October 24, 1956, at Bennington, Vermont.
