Cinderella bookplate of A. B. Frawley trading as ABC Stamp Co. circa 1913. $125 write john@numismaticmall.com
On March 8, 1913, A. B. Frawley, a Washington, D.C. stamp dealer published a slightly deceptive public notice in MeKeel's Weekly Stamp News that he had severed ties with the persons doing business as A. B. Frawley and going on his own wanting to call his company the Washington Stamp Co., but Nickels had already been trading under that name so he chose ABC Stamp Co. instead.
