NSM Financial Filemaker Databases

Read-only access to Filemaker databases:

• 1. Contact NSMIT to request access

  2. Follow the steps below to access the databases once access is provided:

• Vpn if not on campus (https://uh.edu/infotech/services/computing/networks/vpn/installation-for-mac/)

• Map drive \\129.7.38.73\nsm\filemaker (login using cougarnet account credentials)

• Open your department database

  1. Always open the main database for example: VBio, VChem, etc.

  2. Open using new local account which I will send in a separate email.

  3. You will get several pop up messages, click on option to open without sharing
