Hi Kiddos,
Set- Up Directions: You need your folder.
I am out today. I had to take my daughter to the doctors. I will see you next week. Please follow the directions below.
Today I expect you will...
If you haven't watched the video on how to draw, do that first:
Work on your Fractured Values:
Finish drawing your objects on draft paper.
You need to have three objects for your final drawing. One small, one medium and one large. This can be 3 different objects OR the same object, 3 different sizes.
If you need to re-size and print follow these directions:
Make a blank Slides presentation. Name it something like “Drawing Project”
Add pictures of your drawings. One on each slide.
Crop your pictures. Resize so you have a Large, Medium and Small (see whiteboard for examples of sizes).
To print choose the … menu.
Click “Share and Export”, then “Print”.
Select 217/Library as printer. Turn off double sided printing.
Press “Print” and let me know you’re going to the library.
Once you have your objects the correct size, please trace them onto final paper using pencil.
Write your name on the back and keep your drawing in your folder.
2. If you have time remaining...
Check out this video from hyperrealist artist Oscar Ukonu. he uses blue ballpoint pens to create AMAZING drawings. Watch the video and learn more about how he creates a range of values with just a simple pen.
3. After you watch the video, choose one of the activities below. Materials can be found on the back counter and in the labeled drawers below the bulletin board.
