Choose a partner to sit next to and work with. Talk about the "food for thought" prompt. Share the highlights of your conversation with the class.
Most of the assignments for this course require teamwork. An important part of the teaming experience is evaluation of you and your teammate's contributions. We will use CATME to create teams and gather team evaluations.
You will receive an email from the CATME system at least 48 hours before lab on 01/19/2017.
Following the directions in the email, log into the system using your NC State email address as your user name and your unity id as your password. Change your password after you log in. If we can log in to CATME using your default information, you will lose 10 points.
Fill out the questionnaire. Make sure for the schedule you check boxes when you are busy. Times you are available should be left unchecked.
In the comments you can provide the names of up to three people which you do not want to work with. We will try to honor these requests to the best of our ability when creating pairs and teams.

Why are we asking you to do these things? We want to partner you with students that have similar characteristics and, most importantly, are available at similar times so you can work together.
This semester, we will be enhancing the open source iTrust health care application. We will become more familiar with iTrust by testing the application today.
Go to http://agile.csc.ncsu.edu/iTrust/wiki/doku.php?id=requirements to find the current iTrust requirements. Take a look at the requirements document and familiarize yourself with the different roles of the application users and what functionality each user has.
Launch iTrust through your lab or laptop installation.
Based upon the requirements document, run test cases on the application.
Become familiar with the bug reporting form and the information you will need to report on each bug you find.bugs that you find. Note that you will need to provide traceability between the use case you are exercising and the bug you are reporting. Also, provide a unique test ID which should include in the ID a tie to the use case you were exercising.
Document each bug that you find using the bug reporting form.
Each pair is asked to share: What kinds of bugs did you find? What are some of the fragile areas of iTrust? What considerations should be made when testing (configuration, time, performance, etc.)?
Spend the remaining time working on the next homework assignment so your TA can help you if you run into trouble.
