The Mid Maine Youth Orchestra will be hosting auditions for their Full Orchestra every fall. Concerts are performed at Messalonskee High School, and Mt. Blue High School. The orchestra and consort is made up from musicians in the region's surrounding schools.
MMYO has a Full Symponic Orchestra (mostly high school, and a few advanced middle school students) consisting of strings, brass, woodwinds and percussion.
Audition pieces for the full orchestra will be recommended, but well played All State audition pieces will be a "gold standard". Please see the All State Orchestra audition requirements in the above navigation bar, or talk to your teacher or private teacher for appropriate audition materials.

MMYO is recommended to all orchestra students, and cooperates and operates in MBRSD facilities. It is not an MBRSD sponsored event.
