Someone in 5-2 commented today that his pencil lead is able to conduct electricity.
Jacob attempted to explain this phenomenon by sharing about how the presence of free moving electrons in the molecular structure of pencil lead causes pencil lead to become an electrical conductor.
Well done, Jacob for explaining a very difficult concept!
The secondary school pupils usually learn this concept in Chemistry (Sec 3) when they are taught the topic on Chemical / Molecular Bonding! :)
