Dear boys,
We are also coming to the end of the unit - Human Systems.
To round up this unit, let's review what we have already learnt about systems.
a) What is a system?
b) Think of examples of different types of systems around us? (P3, P4, P5 topics..)
c) In flowering plants, substances are carried around by a series of tubes which made up the transport system of plants. What are the 2 types of tubes?Â
d) What are some similarities / differences between the plant transport system & the human transport system? (Think of Worksheet 7)
e) Any system in our body does not exist on its own; it has to work hand-in-hand with the other systems to perform a certain role.
You will consolidate all your learning points from your powerpoint slides for this unit into a concept map.
In your concept map, you have to:
1 Demonstrate how these 3 systems are inter-connected and NOT simply isolated systems (floating) on its own.
2.State all parts & functions (for 3 systems)
3. Explain what a double circulatory system is all about
Please complete your concept map on a piece of drawing block paper (or A3).
Deadline for Digestive, Respiratory & Circulatory concept map: 6 May (Friday)
Regards,
Mrs Ng
