We had some fun with fruit / potato batteries during our recent Science lesson!
Cute and helpful caption! ;)
Gosh, what an interesting looking lime from Haoyu's group! :D

Several questions for Thought (also potential Extra Reading Material topics to explore):
1. Why was an LED light used instead of a light bulb?
2. Will the LED light up if the zinc & copper stripes are not inserted into the fruits? Why?
3. Why are two different types of metals (zinc & copper stripes) used?
Will the LED lit up if two identical metals are used instead?
4. Will the experiment work with most different types of fruit/vegetables?
What are some factors that will affect the time taken for the LED light to remain lit?
5. In what way does your fruit resemble an actual battery?
Cheers,
