Professional Development

Teams are required to participate in at least one professional development opportunity for each of the three district goals over the next five years. Depending on need, these opportunities will be offered multiple times and in multiple formats to attempt to accommodate teachers’ schedules.  Teams can divide into smaller teams and attend different professional development opportunities, depending on the need.

The professional development calendar will be created based off of the goals and professional development opportunities that teams request each year.  The 2011-2012 calendar will be available by the September Early Release day; however, subsequent years will be available by the August in service day.
