There are six (6) steps in the scientific process, or to be used when you are conducting an experiment. First you Pose a Question (1) about an observation, then you Develop a Hypothesis (2), a possible explanation, or "educated guess" as many earlier teachers have referred to it. Then you Design an Experiment (3), Collect and Interpret the Data (4), before finally Drawing Conclusions (5). Lastly, we like to share in the scientific community, so we Communicate (6) our results.
