Trends in Anxiety: Information and Strategies
As a school counselor, I am here to help in anyway I can. Sometimes that is through short-term individual sessions, whole class lessons on coping skills, or providing information or resource lists to parents/guardians. The attached page provides some information on anxiety and lists some strategies that might help if you or your child has been experiences anxiety related symptoms.

Khan Academy Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. We tackle math, science, computer programming, history, art history, economics, and more.
Missouri Connections Missouri Connections is a comprehensive, online, career development and planning program that is provided free of charge to all Missouri cities.
School counselors cannot provide on-going therapy in the school setting . If you need a list of some of the outside counseling services within our surrounding area, please see your school counselor. If you have a family doctor or pediatrician, it is often beneficial to ask them for a referral to coordinate your personal insurance.

In the Spring of 2018, the 5th grade created a video about bullying and how to be a good friend to rap up our 4th and 5th grade lessons on positive habits and friendship along with out to respond to a bullying or unkind situations.
