Measuring Capacity

For the next while, our focus in math will be measuring. We will focus on measuring how much something holds (capacity) and how heavy it is (mass). Today we had some fun outside estimating and comparing using buckets of water. We asked ourselves questions like, "How many cups of water will it take to fill this larger container?". Check out these photos of us measuring, pouring and of course getting just a little bit wet!
