School Board Elections

As of Friday afternoon less than 70,000 Jeffco voters had actually turned in their ballots and cast their vote in our very important Board of Education election. That is less than the total number of students enrolled in our school district!!!

It is TOO LATE to MAIL in your ballot, but you still have plenty of time to DROP it OFF!!

PLEASE VOTE!!

If you have your ballot all filled out but just need to know where to take it, there are lots of ballot drop boxes in both counties:

If you need to register to vote, get a replacement ballot, or vote on accessible equipment, there are locations across Jefferson and Broomfield counties. They'll be open again Monday during regular business hours, then 7am-7pm on Election Day (Tue. Nov. 7).

If you've already mailed in your ballot and want to confirm it's been received, you can do that at www.GoVoteColorado.com. Use this link or type it in and click on "Find My Voter Registration." Jefferson County voters can also track their ballot at https://www.jeffco.us/3313/BallotTrax.

Jeffco Generations: A Learning-Centered Vision for Our Community's Schools

On October 11, 2017, and to coincide with Dr. Glass's 100th day as Superintendent of Jeffco Public Schools, he released a document called JeffcoGenerations: A Learning-Centered Vision for Our Community’s Schools. Since then, he has added translated versions of the document, as well as support materials including a four-page summary brochure and a poster of the Generations skills.

The goal now is to gather feedback and encourage conversation through Dr. Glass's blog, www.advancejeffco.blog, and on the new JeffcoGenerations Conversation Facebook group. He's asking three simple questions:

1. What did you like (and why)?

2. What is missing (and why should it be included)?

3. What questions remain?

Please let him know your thoughts on the document by responding to one, two, or all three of the questions.
