PTA FAQ

The Kyffin PTA uses a cloud-based PTA management software called Membership Toolkit  https://kyffinpta.membershiptoolkit.com/home. This software helps manage and organize the membership database, volunteers, online directory and virtual web store.  If you have not already registered with Kyffin’s PTA, you can do so with this link. You do not have to join the PTA as a member to use all aspects of this software, but providing us with your email will help us to stay connected with you and communicate any important information and volunteer opportunities that are available throughout the year:  https://sites.google.com/a/jeffcoschools.us/kyffin-pta/  

There are multiple ways to get involved at Kyffin both in the classroom and at school events and activities.  Within the classroom the room parent (who organizes classroom parties) or leading an ELF activity (Exploratory Learning for the Future curriculum offered 5x a year and led by parents) are two great ways to participate in your child’s classroom.  A variety of PTA sponsored events and activities are held throughout the year and details and volunteer opportunities are advertised to parents in your child’s Friday Folder, the PTA website, the school newsletter, etc. See more below!

The Fun Run will take place October 6th. 

The Pub Crawl and Kyffin Experience will take place April 20, 2024. 

Other fundraisers include the following: 

• Restaruant nights (monthly) 

• Longmont Dairy caps collection

• Miscellaneous donations

• Colorado Gives Day

Please note the American Heart Association fundraiser in the winter is put on by Mr. Kinner to directly support the American Heart Association and the PE program at Kyffin.
