Official Count Day & School Board Elections

Post date: Sep 29, 2017 6:11:32 PM

Count Day: Monday, October 2nd

Colorado is serious when they say "per pupil funding" and "the dollars follow the students." Once a year, in the first week of October, every school across the state participates in a one-day membership count for districts to report all students enrolled to the Colorado Department of Education.

Every student attending your school needs to be accounted for on Count Day. Much of public education funding from the State of Colorado is based on student count, and the official student count day this year is October 2nd.
