The election is over, but there are still important PTA advocacy efforts that need your support!

CENSUS 2020

The 2020 Census counts every person living in the 50 states, District of Columbia, and five U.S. territories and will provide a snapshot of our nation—our population, where we live, and so much more. Required by the US Constitution, the census provides critical, protected data that lawmakers, business owners, teachers, and many others use to provide daily services, products, and support for you and your community. Every year, Colorado receives $13 billion in federal funding for schools and other resources that are necessary to help each child reach their full potential based on census data. The results of the census also determine the number of seats each state will have in the U.S. House of Representatives, and they are used to draw congressional and state legislative districts.
