This page provides important up-to-date announcements and/or addresses known issues.

ANNOUNCEMENTS/UPDATES

IMPORTANT NOTES:


  • The Online Subscription Package is now closed for new order requests for the 19/20 School Year.
  • Office Hours are closed for the remainder of the 19/20 School Year. If you have a question or an issue with one of your subscriptions, please reach out to osp@inspireschools.org.


  • How long are the subscriptions good for?
  • All subscriptions are valid for 1 year, from August 15, 2019 - August 14, 2020.
    • Exceptions:
          • myON Reader/News with Accelerated Reader expires on June 10th
          • Typing Agent expires July 31st
          • ABC Mouse, Adventure Academy, Beast Academy Online, and Prodigy expire 1 year from the date of activation.


  • Unfortunately, the following subscriptions are no longer available through the OSP department.


Rosetta Stone Foundations Webinars -- The Rosetta Stone Training team is hosting a series of 60-minute webinars every Tuesday at 12:00 pm PST to support educators with their understanding of student programs, the blended learning model, and supporting home use. Please click here to register for their upcoming webinars. The webinars are relevant for both HSTs and parents.


Download on Inspire-owned computers for Adventure Academy and/or Adobe Creative Cloud : If you are trying to download Adventure Academy or Adobe Creative Cloud on an Inspire-owned computer and receive a pop-up that says "To continue, enter an admin username and password" - you will need to use the "Parent" account login credentials and follow the instructions below.

  • When installing a program through the "Student" account --> A pop up screen will ask for a "Admin" password --> Instead of the password, select in the Bottom left corner, "More Choices" --> Once "More Choices" is selected, a drop-down menu will appear with the list of accounts --> Scroll down the accounts list and find "Parent" --> It will prompt you to enter the "Parent" password --> This will start the installation or the desired software.
  • Enter the following information for the Parent account
        • Username - Parent
        • Password - Inspir3d


CLEVER - Parent accounts are for accessing student progress and/or managing the subscriptions. Student accounts are for accessing the subscriptions for use. Please be sure to have your students log into their Clever account to access the subscriptions for student use.


CLEVER USERNAMES & PASSWORDS

Parent Clever username: parent email address

Student Clever username: Student's first & last initial and District ID # -- example: AB12345

Clever password (for both parents & students): inspireosp2019

* Student District IDs can be located on the student's detail page in the Enrichment Ordering System (EOS).

REMEMBER: Students will need to log into Clever using their student account in order to access the student subscriptions.

If you are not able to login to your student Clever portal, or the dashboard is completely blank, it means that your subscriptions are still being processed. Please allow 3-5 business days for the subscriptions to be created by the vendor.

Clever's mobile app will take you to a mobile web browser to sign in. Once you sign in to Clever on your mobile device (from the mobile browser), you will be able to launch the apps through Clever. For subscriptions that are not automatically integrated with Clever, you will be prompted to sign in to the subscription (we've detailed this information below in the Individual Subscription details below). If you get an "Uh-oh" message, you simply need to click on the button provided in the uh-oh message to go to the vendor's site directly to login.


The following subscriptions are not compatible with Clever. You will receive a separate email from the vendor with your login information.

*TutorMe is continuing to work on creating account access in Clever. We currently do not have an ETA on when Clever access for TutorMe will be available. Meanwhile, the subscription can be accessed directly from the TutorMe website.

INDIVIDUAL SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS


  • ABC Mouse: This subscription is not compatible with Clever for the 19/20 School Year. You should have received an email notification from ABC Mouse with the subject line "Inspire Charter Schools_ABCmouse Account". Please search your inbox for the email from ABC Mouse with your redemption code to activate the subscription (double-check your spam folder). You will need to access ABC Mouse directly through their website.


  • Accelerated Reader & myOn Reader/News: Accelerated Reader and myON are bundled together but are actually two separate subscriptions. You will receive an email notification from Inspire with the subject line "INSPIRE OSP ACCELERATED READER/MYON SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS" .

Accelerated Reader - This subscription will be compatible/accessible in Clever! Clever will prompt you to log in to Accelerated Reader for the first time -- the student username and password are the same as the STAR360 credentials. Parents will not have teacher access to Accelerated Reader. Alternatively, you can log into Accelerated Reader directly through Renaissance.

myON Reader/News - This subscription will not be compatible with Clever. You will need to log into myON directly through their website. The student username for myON is the same as Clever -- password is inspireOSP2019. Parents will not have teacher access to myON Reader/News.

NOTE: If you need assistance with resetting an assessment, please contact your HST.


  • Adobe Creative Cloud: Adobe subscriptions were created with the alternate email address provided for your student. Clever will prompt you to log in to Adobe for the first time -- the username is your student's email address -- the password is set by the user when you activate your Adobe account -- please see below for additional information. Alternatively, you can access Adobe directly, outside of Clever.

For NEW Adobe accounts -- You should have received an email notification from Adobe with the subject line "Access is granted. Enjoy All Apps for K-12 now" (please be sure to check your spam folder). Click on the GET STARTED link from the email and use the forgot password option -- enter your student's email address the Adobe account so you can set your own password.

If you renewed an Adobe subscription or provided an email address with an existing Adobe account, you will NOT receive an email notification. Your account was automatically renewed and you may log into Adobe using your previous username (email address) and password. If you do not remember your password, you may use the password reset option.

NOTE: This subscription required a student email address in order to create the student subscription. If you did not provide a valid/accessible student email address when you submitted your OSP request, and you haven't received the subscription please email the OSP Team and enter "ADOBE CREATIVE CLOUD - ALTERNATE EMAIL" in the subject line.


  • Adventure Academy: This subscription is not compatible with Clever for the 19/20 School Year. You should have received an email notification from Adventure Academy with the subject line "Inspire Charter Schools_Adventure Academy Account". Please search your inbox for the email from Adventure Academy with your redemption code to activate the subscription (double-check your spam folder). You will need to access Adventure Academy through their website/downloaded app.


  • Beast Academy Online: This subscription is not compatible with Clever for the 19/20 School Year. Beast Academy has emailed login credentials for all NEW subscriptions. You will need to access Beast Academy through their website.

NOTE: If you had/have an existing Beast Academy Online account you will NOT receive an email notification from Beast Academy. The OSP Team will contact you to request your student(s) username(s) so the existing account will be extended/renewed -- you will then log into your Beast Academy Online account using your previous username (email address) and password. If you do not remember your password, you may use the password reset option.


  • BrainPOP & BrainPOP Jr.: Parents and students will access this subscription directly through Clever (no usernames or passwords are required). You will NOT receive an email from BrainPOP with a username and password. Parents will be able to view student progress and manage BrainPOP from the parent Clever account. Students will need to log into their Clever account to access the BrainPOP subscription for student use.


  • Discovery Education Science Techbook w/Streaming Plus: Clever will prompt you to log in to Discovery Education for the first time for both parents and students -- the username/password for Discovery Education is the same the Clever username/password. Alternatively, you can access Discovery Education directly, outside of Clever.

You should have received an email notification from the OSP Team with the subject line "Discovery Education Login Information." Please search your inbox for the email (double-check your spam folder).

IMPORTANT UPDATE: For privacy reasons, parent accounts are not able to create classrooms or link to the student’s account. Click here for a link to the Discovery Education webinar on how to manage the accounts and resources (recording starts at 2:15).


  • Dreambox Learning: Parents and students will access this subscription directly through Clever (no usernames or passwords are required). You will NOT receive an email from Dreambox with a username and password. Parents will be able to view student progress and manage Dreambox from the parent Clever account. Students will need to log into their Clever account to access the Dreambox subscription for student use.


  • Education.com: Clever will prompt you to log in to Education.com for the first time -- the username is your parent email address -- the password is set by the user when you activate your Education.com account -- please see below for additional information. Alternatively, you can access Education.com directly, outside of Clever.

You should have received an email from Education.com with the subject line "Has Invited You to Education.com." Please search your inbox for the email from Education.com (double-check your spam folder). Follow the link in the email to create your parent account (make sure you are using the same email address you provided when you requested the subscription in order to activate the premium account). You will have to create student accounts for your children from Education.com's site.

NOTE: Students will not have Education.com in their Clever dashboard. You can create a link to Education.com for your student on your parent page in Clever and share it with your student: https://www.education.com/games/play/#login -- You will have to provide your student with their student code for Education.com after you have created their account.


  • Elephango: Elephango subscriptions were created with the email address provided for your student. Clever will prompt you to log in to Elephango for the first time -- the username and password are the same as your student's Clever username and password -- please see below for additional information regarding the parent accounts. Alternatively, you can access Elephango directly, outside of Clever.

You should have received an email (sent to the student email address) with a link to create your parent account and sync it with your child's account. If you did not receive the email, click here for a step-by-step guide on creating your parent account.

NOTE: This subscription required a student email address in order to create the student subscription. If you did not provide a valid/accessible student email address when you submitted your OSP request, and you haven't received the subscription please email the OSP Team and enter "ELEPHANGO - ALTERNATE EMAIL" in the subject line.


  • Flocabulary: Parents and students will access the subscription directly through Clever (no usernames or passwords are required). You will NOT receive an email from Flocabulary with a username and password. Parents will be able to view student progress and manage Flocabulary from the parent Clever account. Students will need to log into their Clever account to access the Flocabulary subscription for student use.


  • GradeSlam: Parents and students can access the subscription directly through Clever (no usernames or passwords are required). However, if you would like to access GradeSlam outside of Clever, please follow the instructions below.

You should have received an email notification from GradeSlam with the subject line, "Welcome to GradeSlam!" The email was sent to your parent email address with instructions for logging in to both your parent account and student(s) account.

GradeSlam parent account username/password: parent email address

GradeSlam student account username/password: Student's first & last initial and District ID # -- example: AB12345


  • Grammarly: Grammarly subscriptions were created with the email address provided for your student. Clever will prompt both parents and students to log in to Grammarly for the first time -- the username is your student's email address -- the password is set by the user when you activate the student's Grammarly account -- please see below for additional information. Alternatively, you can access Grammarly directly, outside of Clever.

You should have received an email notification from Grammarly with the subject line "ACTION NEEDED: Please Activate Your Grammarly Account." Please search your inbox for the email from Grammarly (double-check your spam folder) - you will need to set your own password. If your student did not receive the email notification, please use the forgot password option and enter your student's email address.

NOTE: This subscription required a student email address in order to create the student subscription. If you did not provide a valid/accessible student email address when you submitted your OSP request, and you haven't received the subscription please email the OSP Team and enter "GRAMMARLY - ALTERNATE EMAIL" in the subject line.


  • IXL: Parents and students will access this subscription directly through Clever (no usernames or passwords are required). You will NOT receive an email from IXL with a username and password. Parents will be able to view student progress and manage IXL from the parent Clever account. Students will need to log in to their Clever account to access the IXL subscription for student use.

Alternative IXL Login Option for Students: The student username(s) and password(s) for IXL can be accessed from the parent roster in IXL (after clicking on IXL from the parent's Clever dashboard). Students can then access IXL directly online or through an app with their username and password if desired. Otherwise, they may access IXL directly through Clever with no username/password required.


You should receive an email from Kids Discover with the subject line, "Inspire Charter Schools: Activate Your Kids Discover Online Homeschool Plan." The email will contain a coupon code that you will need to redeem to create an educator account. Once you've set up your educator account, you will then need to create a classroom. After setting up your classroom, you will receive a classroom code to share with your students; the classroom code will be required to create student accounts and invite them to your classroom.


  • Mango Languages: Clever will prompt you to log in to Mango Languages for the first time -- the parent/student username and password are the same as your Clever parent/student username and password. Parents will be able to view student progress and manage Mango Languages from the parent Clever account. Students will need to log in to their Clever account to access the Mango Languages subscription for student use. Alternatively, you can access Mango Languages directly, outside of Clever.


  • Minecraft Education Edition: Minecraft Education Edition is not compatible with Clever. You should have received an email notification from the Inspire Tech Dept with the subject line, "Inspire Charter Schools - Minecraft: Education Edition Account Information." Please search your inbox for the email from our Inspire Tech Dept (double-check your spam folder). After receiving the activation email from our Tech Team, please follow the instructions for downloading and accessing the Minecraft Education app.
  • Minecraft Education Edition is a downloaded app and does not work on Chromebooks!

NOTE: If you did not receive the email notification or you need further assistance with Minecraft Education, please email tech-help@inspireschools.org.


  • MobyMax: Parents and students will access this subscription directly through Clever (no usernames or passwords are required). Parents will be able to view student progress and manage MobyMax from the parent Clever account. Students will need to log in to their Clever account to access the MobyMax subscription for student use.

For NEW accounts, you may have received an email notification from MobyMax with the subject line, "Inspire Charter Schools OSP has registered you for MobyMax."

For renewing accounts, you will NOT receive an email notification from MobyMax. You may log in to MobyMax using your existing username/password. If you do not remember your password, you may use the forgot password option.

  • Prodigy: This subscription is not compatible with Clever for the 19/20 School Year. You should have received an email from Prodigy with your login information for your parent account for all NEW subscriptions. Please search your inbox for the email from Prodigy with the subject line, "Welcome to Prodigy, {Your Name}!" (double-check your spam folder). If you did not receive the email, please use the forgot password option.

NOTE: If you renewed a Prodigy subscription or provided an email address with an existing Prodigy account (free or paid), you will NOT receive an email notification. Your account was automatically renewed and you may log in to your Prodigy account using your previous username (email address) and password. If you do not remember your password, you may use the forgot password option.

You will need to apply the Prodigy membership to your student from your parent account. Please click here for instructions on applying the Prodigy Membership. If your student doesn't haven't an existing Prodigy account, then you will need to create a classroom and then click on your classroom to add a student. Once you've added your student, you will be able to apply the membership to the student.


  • Reading Eggs & MathSeeds: Students must access Reading Eggs & MathSeeds directly from the student's Clever account (no additional usernames or passwords are required). Regrettably, parents will NOT have teacher access to Reading Eggs in Clever. We are working with Reading Eggs & MathSeeds on a solution so that parents can have access to view student progress outside of Clever, but this endeavor is taking longer than anticipated. We will send an update once we have more information. Thank you, in advance, for your patience.


  • Rosetta Stone (All Languages): Students must access Rosetta Stone directly from the student's Clever account (no additional usernames or passwords are required). You will NOT receive an email from Rosetta Stone with a username and password. Regrettably, parents will NOT have teacher access to Rosetta Stone in Clever; parents may log into the student's Clever account to review the student's progress.

If you need to change the course settings for younger students, please click here and refer to the FAQ section for the instructions.

High School Students: If you are taking French, German, or Spanish for A-G credit, please refer to the linked course assignments for additional instructions. Please note, there are NO levels in Rosetta Stone -- the A-G "levels" are determined by designated units detailed in the high school course assignment document.


  • Shmoop: Shmoop student subscriptions were created with the email address provided for your student. Parent/teacher accounts were created with the parent's email address. Clever will prompt you to log in to Shmoop for the first time -- please see below for additional information. Alternatively, you can access Shmoop directly, outside of Clever.

Shmoop Email Notifications: Parent/teacher account confirmations are sent to the parent email address. Student account confirmations are sent to the student alternate email address you provided when you selected the subscription. Email notifications are only sent for NEW subscriptions and will have the subject line, "Welcome to Shmoop!" Please search your inbox for the email (double-check your spam folder).

If you renewed a Shmoop subscription from last year, you may not receive an email notification; your account was automatically renewed and you may log into Shmoop using your previous username and password. If you do not remember your password, you may use the password reset option.

SHMOOP PASSWORD FOR PARENTS & STUDENTS: inspireOSP2019!

Student Shmoop username (unless renewed from last year) is the same as Clever -- the student's first & last initial and District ID # -- example: AB12345 -- * Student District IDs can be located on the student's detail page in the Enrichment Ordering System (EOS).

Parent Shmoop username (unless renewed from last year) is the parent's email address

If accessing Shmoop directly (outside of Clever), please make sure you log in from the schools.shmoop.com

INSPIRE TEACHERS: You may use the Shmoop magic word, PALAEOBIOLOGIST, to create a free teacher account. Please note, however, that unless you are creating a classroom for the student and managing/grading their courses, you will not be able to view the student progress from your teacher account. The parent will need to share access with you to their parent account in order for you to review/track student progress.

NOTE: This subscription required a student email address in order to create the student subscription. If you did not provide a valid/accessible student email address when you submitted your OSP request, and you haven't received the subscription, please email the OSP Team and enter, "SHMOOP - ALTERNATE EMAIL" in the subject line.


  • Time4Learning: This subscription is not compatible with Clever for the 19/20 School Year. You should have received an email notification from Time4Learning (please double-check your spam folder as well as the alternate email address provided). You will need to access Time4Learning directly.

If you did not receive the email and your subscription, then you can use the forgot password option on the Time4Learning website, email support@time4learning.com, or call Time4Learning customer support (888) 771-0914 (make sure to mention this is for the Inspire Online Subscription Package).

Once logged into the parent account, you will be able to access your student name and password from the Manage Students link at the top of the page. Students log in to Time4Learning using their first and last name -- password is the student's first name followed by 123 (Example: Abby123) until you reset/change their password.


  • TutorMe: TutorMe is not compatible with Clever; you will need to access the subscription directly through the TutorMe website. You should receive an email with the subject line, "Inspire OSP - TutorMe Student Login Instructions" (please double-check your spam folder). If you haven't received the email notification yet, please use the following instructions for student access to TutorMe:

1. Go to the TutorMe website -- https://tutorme.com/

2. Click on the SIGN IN link in the upper left corner of the website

3. Select the Forgot Password Link

4. Enter your student's email address:

5. Select the Send Reset Link button

Your student will receive an email from TutorMe with a link to reset their own password.

IMPORTANT: This subscription required an alternate email address for the student account. If you did not provide a valid/accessible student email address when you submitted your OSP request, please email the OSP Team and enter "TUTOR ME - ALTERNATE EMAIL" in the subject line.


  • Tynker: Clever will prompt you to log in to the subscription for the first time. For your parent account, you will need to use the Tynker username (parent email address) and password that you set-up with Tynker when you first activated your account -- please see below for additional information. For your student's accounts, you will need to access your student's username and password from your parent account -- and provide your student with their individual Tynker login information so they log in from Clever to activate the single sign-on access. Alternatively, you can access Tynker directly, outside of Clever.

For NEW Tynker accounts -- You should have received an email notification from Tynker with the subject line, "Your Tynker Account is Set Up." If you didn't receive an email from Tynker with your log information, you can use the password reset (enter your parent email address). Once you've been able to log in to your Tynker parent account, you should be able to access your student's Tynker username and password (which can then be used to log in to Tynker from Clever to activate the single sign-on access).

If you are renewing a Tynker subscription or provided an email address with an existing Tynker account, you will NOT receive an email notification. Your account was automatically renewed and you may log in to Tynker using your previous username (email address) and password. If you do not remember your password, you may use the password reset option.


  • Typing Agent: Parents and students will access this subscription directly through Clever (no usernames or passwords are required). You will NOT receive an email from Typing Agent with a username and password. Parents will be able to view student progress and manage Typing Agent from the parent Clever account. Students will need to log in to their Clever account to access the Typing Agent subscription for student use.


  • VocabularySpellingCity: Parents and students will access the subscription directly through Clever (no usernames or passwords are required). You will NOT receive an email from VocabularySpellingCity with a username and password. Parents will be able to view student progress and manage VocabularySpellingCity from the parent Clever account. Students will need to log in to their Clever account to access the VocabularySpellingCity subscription for student use.
