About Rosetta Stone Foundations through the OSP:
FAQ
Q: What is the difference between Rosetta Stone Homeschool and Foundations?
A: The OSP accounts for Rosetta Stone are the Foundations accounts. The Homeschool and Foundations courses both use the same software, the difference is that Foundations also comes with the offline materials (worksheets, quizzes, ect.) and some of the Foundations courses are A-G approved, while the Homeschool ones are not.
Q: My student has advanced experience in one of the Rosetta Stone languages available. How do I ensure that they are being challenged?
A: The Rosetta Stone program has 5 Levels for a total of about 200 hours of content. Since the Rosetta Stone immersion method is unique, we would recommend that students with experience place themselves by working only on Core Lessons at first. If the student is able to complete the core lesson on the first attempt, they can skip to the next core lesson. If the lesson is not completed on the first attempt, the student should work on all activities from that point forward.
Q: The course seems a little too advanced for my child. How do I change the course settings?
A: See below for the instructions to change the course settings in Rosetta.
