FAQ
Q: Will my student receive A-G or AP credit for the Shmoop courses that he/she completes?
A: Inspire does not have approval for offering Shmoop courses as AP credit. AP courses may be taken for elective non “a-g” credit and in preparation of taking the AP exam, but will not be designated as such on the student’s Inspire transcript.
There are Shmoop courses that are approved for A-G credit, however some may require the student to also complete the Inspire A-G standards-based course. Here is the Shmoop Course Catalog for Inspire High School students, it has additional information on A-G credit using Shmoop.
