C. GTT Supplies & Assessment

GTT students are required to develop and maintain a GTT Engineer's Notebook that is organized, neat, and permits easy location of different coursework for editing, presentation, and assessment. This same Notebook can be used each year a student is enrolled in GTT.

Student Supplies:

1. Engineering Notebook: The engineering notebook is for students to keep and maintain all of their paperwork. The following suggested items

Items needed for your notebook:

• Presentation (clearview ) binder - 1 inch, 3-ring, any color or pocket folder

• Looseleaf notebook paper (college rule recommended)

• Looseleaf 3-hole Quadrille graph paper (4 squares per inch)

  • I will provide all 3D graph paper!

• Section Dividers

2. Wood pencils (rounded off) for technical sketching & drawing

Assessment:

Students will be assessed quarterly based on the following weights and criteria:

Major (M) Assessments:

50 % = 3-4 (Tests, Projects, Presentations)

minor (m) Assessments:

50 % = 9-12 (Bellwork, Quizzes, Labwork, Lab Maintenance, GTT Notebook)
