Community Trees

In January 2010, the Nebraska Statewide Arboretum designated the Bellevue community as a city-wide arboretum and Green Bellevue helped to form the City's first Tree Board. The Tree board works on necessary tree legislation and plant collaborations to ensure the protection of the many beautiful trees we have. We are planting approximately 150 new trees per year in Bellevue.

Bellevue has received the Arbor Day Foundation's Tree City USA designation.

Pictured are students, GreenBellevue volunteers and volunteers from Mutual of Omaha who participated in planting new trees.
