Recycling Styrofoam (EPS) Collection Site

What is EPS?Expanded polystyrene (EPS) is a versatile, lightweight material that can be manufactured into a variety of products- mainly packaging - to prevent or minimize product damage during transit.

It's better known as "styrofoam" and the good news: EPS is recyclable and there is a drop off site in Omaha at Plastelite Corporation.

It's not a convenient drive (out by the Mormon Bridge) for those in Bellevue so be sure to collect and coordinate with friends so to make the trip worth the trip. The biggest thing is we can divert the material from landfills!

Keep in mind that styrofoam cups, plates, food containers can be put in the orange bags. That can be purchased from Papillion Sanitation or at HyVee Stores. Learn more at the link below!
