8th Grade Orchestra
The 8th Grade Orchestra is the main performing ensemble for West Middle School, regularly performing for assemblies (transition nights and coffee concerts), ceremonies (Veteran's Day, NJHS), adjudications (Music in the Parks/Six Flags), and concerts (Winter and Spring).
Emphasis is placed on developing technique through a wide variety of music; everything from Bach to Beethoven to the Beatles.
We will be continuing our use of Google Classroom this year. This can be accessed from any internet access point (computer, tablet, smart phone). There is a free app for this: Google Classroom. We will be able to share information and do limited playing tests through this - hopefully this will eliminate a few in-office playing tests. (Yahoo!)
