Welcome!

We live in Post-Truth Era. We are bombarded with so many points of view, alternative views, fake news.

From cave walls to church paintings, from social media walls to virtual realities, we have been creating our narrative and telling our stories.

We believe in stories that support our world view and our prior experience. We live in our own bubble.

I teach Media Literacy Education to K12 teachers and students. MLE promotes multiple points of view.

Guardian example

My participatory action research seeks where the myths and misconceptions come from using theoretical frameworks such as Semiotics- the study of signs.

Here are some of my stories from my perspectives.

My daughter's 2nd grade teacher. Ms Tirri. Girls are good in social studies and language arts, boys are good in math and science.

I do not recall ever seen pregnant women prior to being pregnant myself. Why?

What does a scientist look like?

My daughter as a 3rd grade.

Are you ready to seek alternative points of view? Try a new lens? Pop your bubble? Liberate yourself from a textbook format?

Zoom in and Zoom out to other realities and counter-narratives.

To see the world in a grain of sand.

Thank you.

Peace, Melda
