Proficiency Scales & Rubrics

MRL presents us with a specific way to track student progress--the proficiency scale.  Such scales are effective tools for tracking student progress because they use clear learning targets with a simple scale to help student understand where they are performing relative to the target.  MRL scales, specifically, use a standard 4 point scale which allows comparison over time.
