Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
Tested the Compcooler Vest
Tested the Peltier device with the battery, aluminum block, tubing, and pump
The application draft layout has been developed.
Accomplishments from Previous Week
Tests proved the hardware works and is ready for fabrication. Testing with the vest with body armor caused leaking and proved military and police application is not appropriate.
Application development so the vest is closer to being able to be controlled with a smartphone
Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Use specific and measurable objectives.
Controller setup
Testing the cooling ability of the Peltier device integrated into the vest and compare it with the original passive cooling with ice water.
