Look into a ball bearing type design for the waist seal that allows more movement for the patient
This is not a realistic scope for our project, but ideas will be documented.
Test LBNP with vacuum
Waiting for vinyl cement to set, to test.
Create Port for tubes to come out
In process of testing various ports.
Sew Neoprene seal
Done.
Need temperature and humidity sensors for LBNP chamber
Ordered.
Instructor Comments from Last Meeting and Actions Taken to Address these Comments (indicate date of comments and if via email or in person)
Cut backup support arches.
Done
Test creep of vinyl
Working with materials professors on this. Recording observations during testing.
Comments from Other Students in the Class (indicate date of comments and if via email or in person)
Sean suggested using a space-bag one way valve. Tested valve and flow rate is low (20CFM). Trying to determine if this is sufficient.
Risks and Areas of Concern
Flow rate with different ports
Resources or Information Required but not Available
Determination of flow through space bag port if 20 CFM is sufficient
Schedule
Begin testing (5/25)
Update Gantt chart.
Budget (list amount spent and amount remaining)
