Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
As of week 10 the current status involves the completion of the risk reduction which takes a major problem and concern of the project that is crucial and analyses solutions for it
Current Risk Reduction Target: Applied Pressure required to sink device approximately 2 inches into sediments of different densities
Current Risk Reduction Testing Method: Lagoon used to test device with pressure measured using strain/force gauge and weights
Current Manufactured design provided by sponsor will be used for testing
Sponsors have indicated the wants of the project and have proposed viable solutions/paths that could be taken
Sponsors have indicated mistakes that could be avoided in the design
Accomplishments from Previous Week

Plan Weekly meeting date/time with team for spring quarter(Whole Team Effort)
Sponsor Comments from Last Meeting and Actions Taken to Address these Comments (indicate date of comments and if via email or in person)
Recommendation that current team look at previous project
Look into small cameras
Look into reflective tape
Look into looking at IR instead of regularÂ
Differentiate between regular aquatic vegetation vs. algae
Testing in more regular conditions instead of pool
Quadrant has to have 40 intersection sections for sampling
Measuring wet weight vs. dry weight for algae samples
Instructor Comments from Last Meeting and Actions Taken to Address these Comments (indicate date of comments and if via email or in person)
Commented that risk reduction should be done on something that will be practical to current project
Changed risk reduction to force analysis
Also recommended to contact other team that worked on vision code
Have not contacted yet
Recommended to look at previous quarter's project
Talked to a few members of previous project
Comments from Other Students in the Class (indicate date of comments and if via email or in person)
I have an algae problem(relevant) had to clean
Does it mix well, should not mix, you will have that layer
