Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.

  • Find a pressure tank to use

  • Machine shop a housing structure and two different caps to test

  • Create several wedge shapes in Solidworks

  • Call and verified the force applied on the housing structure

  • Obtain O-rings

  • Test the housing in the pressure tank

    • Asked Dr.Oiler if we could see the vibrocorer

  • Solidify a hardware risk reduction test

    • Decided to build and test the cap attachments to the housing if it can withstand several pressures without breaking and leaking
