VCCA Excellence in Education (EIE) 

• Recognizes a full-time or retired staff or faculty member that demonstrates excellence in several significant contributions to education, the community college, and to professional development in and out of the VCCA. 

• The award winner is nominated by their peers and selected by the VCCA Executive committee through a secure vote before the annual conference each year. 

  • Excellence in Education Nomination Form 

VCCA Lifetime Award 

• Recognizes a full-time or retired VCCA member with a minimum of 10 years in good standing that has demonstrated excellence in significant contributions to the VCCS and/or the VCCA.

• The award winner is nominated by their peers and selected by the current delegates through a secure vote before the annual conference each year.

VCCA Showcase Award 

• Recognizes outstanding faculty and staff members throughout the VCCS that demonstrate excellence in significant contributions to education, community college, and professional development involvement at their college or agency. 

• The award winner is nominated and selected by their respective college or agency in the VCCS.
