Year 3 explored coding principles using Dash robots. They completed Puzzles for the first 2 weeks, then free coded their robot through their own short obstacle course in Weeks 3 and 4.
Year 4 started using Lego Essentials kits. They started with the Great Adventures chapter for the first couple of weeks. Then in Week 3 and 4 they were tasked to create their own vehicle to program through their own short obstacle course.
Stage 3 commenced the term using the Lego Essentials kits also, and worked in Amazing Amusement Parks and Great Adventures chapters. They too created their own vehicle in Week 3 for a race against their classmates. Some also created an obstacle course to challenge their programming skills with.
