MULTICULTURAL SPEAKING

Mr Tony Davey's good rule-of-thumb structure to start writing your speech:

Do not start with your name or your topic. Start strong, catchy, memorable. Start straight into a story. Be bold and powerful! REMEMBER: This is a MULTICULTURAL Speech, so you must have a strong multicultural element to your speech!

1min - zoomed in focus of the topic/ issue with a strong narrative to capture audience attention and stick it into their mind

1min - broader analysis of the topic/ issue in relation to your narrative

1min - another zoomed in focus of the topic/ issue with a different narrative/ story or personal connection to regain audience attention and really give them a takeaway memory of your speech

1min - final minute for second example/ narrative analysis and a strong call to action. Really force the audience to consider what they can do personally to take action.
