January week 4

This will be our last week with the theme of "matter". We will continue with Unique story, focusing on sight words, vocabulary, and comprehension. Students have also been playing Smarty Ants for the past couple of weeks and are doing a great job. Smarty Ants is an academic program that helps students with their reading skills. In math students continue to focus on their individual areas and IEP goals. In addition they will complete the Unique activities as a group. Students are continue to write their own sentences using correct grammar. Conferences are coming up soon. I will contact each of you for time and date. Have a great week!
