Students all took a variety of Benchmark tests last week using our Unique curriculum. They also completed post tests for the October curriculum and pretests for the November curriculum. Students are progressing very nicely.

Students all had IEP data collected for the month of October. Students overall are all making nice progress. Many students made significant gains.

Student behavior has been progressing nicely. Students continue to work on interpersonal/social skills. Please help your children to play at home, especially with other children.

Communication both expressive and receptive, is an area that the whole class is working on together. Students are all progressing in the right direction at their individual levels.

I will be sending an individual email out to each of you, to let you know what your child should be working on at home, to support their development at school.

I have one daughter who happens to have multiple special needs. She has taught me so much through the years. I love working at Surprise Elementary School and  I look forward to working with you and your child this year!
